Common questions

Is SetSubmit part of APRA AMCOS?

No. SetSubmit is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by APRA AMCOS, and APRA AMCOS decides what is eligible and what is paid.

Does SetSubmit send my report to APRA AMCOS for me?

No. SetSubmit prepares a submission pack in the same order and fields as APRA AMCOS's Performance Report. You copy it into the Writer Portal or the APRA AMCOS app and make the declaration yourself. SetSubmit never logs in to or fills in APRA AMCOS's systems. Once you have submitted, add your APRA AMCOS reference in SetSubmit to mark the gig submitted.

Which DJ software works?

The desktop app reads Serato DJ (version 4 and version 3 history) and rekordbox (File > Export Collection in xml format). You can also import a CSV, paste a track list, or type a set in on your phone or the web.

Can SetSubmit change my Serato or rekordbox library?

No. SetSubmit only ever reads your play history and never writes to your Serato or rekordbox files. For Serato 4 it reads a copy of the history database, so Serato can keep running.

Who can see my setlists?

Only you, unless you turn sharing on for a gig. Venues see a set only if you share it with that venue. Labels see anonymised play counts for their own tracks, never your name, and only once at least 2 different DJs have played a track. Turn sharing off and access stops straight away.

I didn't get the sign-in email

Check your spam or junk folder, then ask for a new one. The email has a link and a 6-digit code: open the link on the same device, or type the code into the sign-in screen. Both work once and expire after an hour.

How do I stop the reminders?

Reminders stop on their own once a gig is marked submitted. You can turn them off in Settings, then Notifications.

How do I delete a gig or my account?

To delete a gig, open it and choose Delete gig at the bottom. To delete your account and all your data, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Deleting never changes reports you already sent to APRA AMCOS.

How do labels and venues sign up?

Labels and venues sign in on the SetSubmit website, set up their organisation and choose a plan. Prices include GST, and you get a tax invoice for every payment. Cancel any time from Billing.
